Sometimes we are really get annoyed by the slow speed of our broadband and other isp providers. It is mostly happens if you are from India like me. Sometimes you have also noticed that one website load fastly while another takes a lot of times. This is because of your computer DNS resolver cache.  Here in this article I will show you how you can speed up your internet speed without any hecks With the helps public DNS.

Now Let me clear you first that What is DNS Resolver Cache?

DNS always checks the cache before querying any DNS server, and if a record is found that matches the query, DNS uses that record instead of querying the server. This makes queries faster and decreases network and Internet traffic.Clearing the DNS cache to discard negative cache entries from the cache, as well as any other dynamically added entries, forces DNS to query a DNS server rather than using information stored in the cache. You might want to clear the DNS cache if you are moving and changing websites, or if you are receiving repeated errors when you know the web address you are typing is correct.

How to clear your DNS Resolver Cache?

Open your command prompt with the Administrator permission. To do this Click”Windows Icon” in search box type “CMD” Just right click on it and choose “Run as administrator.” When command prompt opens, write the following line: “ipconfig/flushdns” Thats it your DNS resolver Cache is now empty.

How you can speed up your Internet Connection speed with the help of Public DNS.

You can easily speed up your internet connection with the help of public DNS Services like Open Dns and Google Public DNS. Sometimes users get frightened that if they use these DNS They will over charged by their ISP providers. But That is not true. Public DNS services Allow you to use Ipv4 or Ipv6 ip addresses instead of the ip provided by your ISP Provider. By using Public DNS it will drastically increase your internet speed.

What the Benefits of using a Public DNS.

It will provide better security. All trafic coming from it will automatically get filtered and you only visit the quality sites.
It will provide security against Malware, Spyware and spoof programs.
It will provides additional security like DDOS Protection (Flood of incoming traffic)
It will provide high speed without any downtime.
It will not costs you a penny and 100% free to use.

How to use a Public DNS?

You can easily use any public dns providers, But I will suggest you to go only with Google Public DNS Or Open DNS.
Here are ip lists of Google and opendns:-

Google Public DNS:- 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
Opendns Public DNS:- 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220

Now you can use any of them. To implement public dns Click “control panel” >> “Network and Internet”>> “Network and Sharing center” on the left side menu click “Change adapter settings”. here you will find your isp provider details like Abc Broad band or whatever you named it. Now Right Click on it and select “properties” Then a dialog box opens and click “Networking” then select “Internet Protocol version 4(TCP/Ipv4)” and click “properties” Here in the bottom Select “Use the following ip address” you can put the public dns ip address in that field (Note Do not add the same value in the both field of ip address. Always use pair of it.). After that click ok and cut all the windows. If you already connected to internet then disconnect it and again connect it. If you successfully connect then flush your DNS resolver cache as mentioned earlier in this article.

Now you will experience a increase in your internet speed. I hope that this article will help you. If you have any questions feel free ask me or you can share your thoughts by commenting below.
