    Top Game-Changing Innovations in Robotics

While we think of robots, we may conjure up images of sci-fi inspired machines. While these types of machines primarily remain mythical, there are numerous more types of robots in use today. What exactly are robots? And how will they make a difference in the world?

Robotics is a field that combines science, engineering, and technology to create devices that do human tasks. Nowadays, we can find the applications of robots in every industry, from manufacturing, military, education, to medicine. Robots are employed for safety, speed, consistency, and accuracy. Because of these features, we can focus on more important tasks as robots reduce effort, complementing human skill sets. Let us have a look at the game-changer innovations in the robotics field:

Top Robotics Innovations Changing the World 2022

    1. Asus Zenbo

Asus Zenbo is a low-cost robotic gadget with a voice-controlled touchscreen face that displays emotions, can roll around on its own, and understands verbal orders. It can communicate with smart-home devices like security cameras, lights, and door locks. It helps people remember important daily chores, such as exercise and doctor’s visits, and keep an eye on their surroundings in an emergency.

    1. DeeperSense

DeeperSense’s primary goal is to significantly increase environment perception capabilities to improve performance and dependability beyond the individual sensors’ capabilities, add new functionality, and open up new robotics applications. DeeperSense takes a novel approach to combine the capabilities of non-visual and visual sensors using Artificial Intelligence and data-driven Machine Learning / DeepLearning. It chose underwater robotics to show and evaluate this technique because it is one of the most challenging applications for robot operation and environment perception.

    1. Humanoid Robots

Humanoid robots are projected to exist in the real world and cooperate closely with humans and satisfy the requirements of physically disabled people. In dynamic, unstructured situations, these robots must deal with a wide range of tasks and objects. Humanoid robots designed for the elderly and disabled, personal use must be safe and simple to operate. As a result, humanoid robots require a light body, tremendous flexibility, a variety of sensors, and a high level of intelligence. Research and space exploration are just a few of the uses for these robots, including personal support and care giving, education and entertainment, manufacturing and maintenance, and healthcare.

    1. Luka Robot

Luka, an interactive reading buddy, helps kids fall in love with books by giving the reading experience a new dimension. It reads aloud books placed in front of him in an appealing human voice, page by page, in any sequence. Over 20,000 English and 70,000 Chinese picture books are recognized. Teachers and parents can record their voices for books that Luka does not read. Music, nursery rhymes, audio stories, video games are played. It has a pleasant owl-inspired design that children will enjoy interacting with.

    1. Saul Robot

Saul Robot is a germ-zapping robot that shoots intense pulses of highly energetic ultraviolet rays at the Ebola virus, melting it into unusable shreds of genetic material. When effective therapies for this illness were in short supply, the Air Force deployed this robotic equipment to eradicate the pathogen in rooms where human workers were quarantined. It weakens the virus’s cell walls.

    1. Paro Robot

Dr. Takanori Shibata of Japan’s National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology created this therapeutic robot. Paro is controlled by artificial intelligence and alters its behavior in response to various sensors that monitor sound, light, temperature, and touch. It responds to sounds, can remember its name, and picks up on words that its owner uses regularly. It can express feelings like surprise, happiness, and rage, and it will cry if it is not given enough attention. It makes sounds comparable to those of a genuine baby seal during the day and sleeps at night. This robot is designed to help caregivers and patients connect more efficiently and reduce stress. When it comes to inspiring and supporting patients in relaxing, Paro has proven useful.

    1. Sea Robot

These self-driving underwater vehicles can collect data in specific deep ocean areas. Eelume, a Norwegian startup, has launched the Eelume EELY500, a high-tech marine robot that can do underwater inspections and maintenance in industrial situations. Eelume is a spin-off from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology’s research.

    1. Swimming Robots

These robots could be extremely handy for analyzing and charting the surf zone, where waves meet the coast. Pliant Energy Systems’ highly adaptable robot can rapidly change positions, and this project uses its green energy technology, initially created to generate electricity from rivers. The company’s swimming robot features soft fins that allow it to move around quickly, and its amphibious capabilities are useful for marine exploration.

    1. UBTECH ‘Cruzr’

It’s a humanoid service robot designed to help businesses expand their capacities by keeping consumers and employees linked to the information they need. The robot has a movable design that allows it to move around a workplace or even an airport terminal, and it has a large screen that will offer users visual information. It also has an open-source platform that allows organizations to tweak the unit’s capabilities to respond appropriately in specific situations.

    1. Space Robots

Space robots help humans by completing manual duties and assisting them. They are operational in the International Space Station right now. Although they are costly to manufacture, sending a robot to space is less expensive than sending a human and safe for humans even though the mission fails. Space robots measure astronauts. They gather samples, put together structures and equipment, and explore other planets with cameras.

    Final Thoughts:

As fast-paced technological developments in automation, engineering, energy storage, artificial intelligence, and machine learning intersect, the robotics revolution is rapidly accelerating. After seeing how robots affect the world, it’s evident that they have their benefits and aren’t going away anytime soon, with increasing demand worldwide. As automation paves the way for the future, a company must understand the costs and training required to get the most out of a robot. Anyhow, this is expected that the rise in robot use will cause considerable disruptions to the economy, governments, employment options, and the commoner’s life like the internet.
