Nexus 6P Gets Updated With Performance Improvements and a DND Fix

If you have been online today to catch up on all the latest news surrounding everything technical, you would have noticed a lot of hype about the latest Android N talk. But just before all that started, there was an update that rolled out for the Nexus 5X which brought about some minor bug fixes and enhancements. Now, it seems that Google has just announced the same update is being rolled out for the Nexus 6P. The difference is that the 6P update comes with build number MHC191 and brings some rather noticeable improvements in the device’s performance.

  • DND next alarm disappearing issue.
  • Carrier-specific bug fixes.
  • Connectivity improvements.

The update brings some much needed performance upgrades in the Nexus 6P which takes the device from 100Hz to 300Hz and improves the speed and performance of the device quite impressively. Moving onto the Do Not Disturb issue, the bug that would break the “until next alarm” every month has now been fixed. Along with these improvements, some minor tweaks and carrier improvements also hit the device. Some people are also saying that the update brings along the March security patch. So, if you are interested in updating your Nexus 6P, here is your chance. Either wait for the OTA to arrive or check for the update manually by going to Settings >> about phone >> System updates.
