    Now, as the name suggests, this is the phase where the user submits the query. Once the user has submitted the query then the search engine goes through to its index to match the query. When the query is matched, then search engines rank the websites before presenting them to users using a number of variables such as search history, user’s location, page content and website authority. Once it’s done, then the search engine produces results to users.

    Improvement Phase

    The improvement phase in SEO is where experts analyze user behavior and SERPs (search engine results pages) to find the areas where the website needs to be improved. This phase activates after the feedback phase when users are done interacting with the engines. It is important as it allows professionals to understand website performance. In the improvement phase SEO experts collect data about user behavior and SERPs, analyze the data to look for trends and patterns, make changes accordingly and implement them on the fly, and then monitor the website to understand the effects and look if the modifications are needed.

    Feedback Phase

    Search engines play a crucial role in our lives as it provides us with the answers and the information we need, quickly. However, we know nothing is perfect, even the search engines have flaws that give an opportunity to improve and remove them. Feedback is an important part for search engine optimization that directly involves users to improve search engines by giving comments and suggestions on quality, utility, and relevancy of search results. User behavior, content’s quality, keyword relevance, security, page loading speed, average session time, backlinks and accuracy of information are considered in the feedback phase.
